World War Two photograph collection talk

Cranbourne Shire Historical Society presents a talk by Barry Freeman on the WW2 photographs taken by his uncle, Lance Corporal Bill Graham, including photos of Horrie the wog dog. Horrie was adopted by Australian Signal Platoon soldiers in the Middle East and secretly smuggled into Australia when the troops returned to Australia. Bill  farmed cattle on his father’s property in Clyde from 1955 and in Tooradin from 1966.

When: Thursday, September 29 2022 at 7.30pm. Where: School building, Fishermans Cottage Museum, Foreshore Road, Tooradin.
