Off to the Races – on this walk you hear stories of  the Pioneers connected to the racing industry. “Meet” the man behind the name of the Herbert Power Stakes that is held at the Caulfield Racecourse. Hear about the often not so easy lives of the various Jockeys and whether as an Owner\, Trainer or a Jockey taking part in some of the biggest race meetings in Australia. \nWhen: Sunday\, March 16\, 2025 at 2.00pm. Where: Brighton General Cemetery\, Corner North Road & Hawthorn Road\, Caulfield South (Main gate is on North Road)\, meet near the Office. \nBookings are essential – ring Lois on 9558 4248.
