Brighton Cemetery tour – Remembrance Day walk

Brighton Cemetorians present – Visit the graves of eight service persons and hear their stories – Sister Louisa Marcella Curtain who nursed at a number of hospitals in Europe then spent a couple of years on various ships nursing service persons home and then returning with new troops. Private Percival Fallon who served in Gallipoli the served with the Camel Corps, WO Colin Beech who flew Spitfires out of Darwin on one occasion baling out 50 miles from Moratai.

As part of the Flag Project there will beĀ  50 Australian Flags attached to a pole at the side of Veterans graves to publicly commemorate the role of our Men and Women as part of the Australian war effort from 4th to the 14th November, 2022.

When: Sunday, November 6, 2022 at 2.00pm. Brighton Cemetery is located on the corner of North and Hawthorn Roads, Caulfield. Walk begins at the front gate on North Road.
