The Brighton Cemetorian’s Law Week Walk –  When: May 22, 2022 at 2.00pm. This walk begins from the top gate on Hawthorn Road [near the cnr of Sheffield St]

To celebrate Law week – Inquests and newspaper articles tell the stories of Train Fatalities, Frank Pynn was watching the up train when he and his cordial wagon were crossing the train tracks at Carrum was hit by the down train, Duncan Oswald Ritchie who fell from an electric train near Brighton Beach station as he was trying to retrieve  his hat which had blown off,  and fell through the open door of a carriage. These are just two of  the people we have included in today’s walk, they are normal average people who through mental health issues, negligence or error in judgement lost their lives.
