Brighton General Cemetery ANZAC Walk

Join the Brighton Cemetorians on April 13, 2025 at 2.00pm for an ANZAC themed walk. The walk will visit the graves of eight service people including Hugh James Martin who was a member of the RSL Executive for 30 years, and helped organise the first Anzac Day March in Melbourne in March 1925 and supported recognition for the day as a Public Holiday; Harry James Joseph Maddox who was the first President of the Automobile Club of Victoria [RACV], and Sister Annie Frances Griffin who served in various hospitals in India. Come and hear the stories of these and other brave and courageous people.
Where: Brighton General Cemetery, Corner North Road & Hawthorn Road, Caulfield South, meet at the front gate (North Road gate) for a 2.00pm start on Sunday April 13.
