South Eastern Historical Association Textile Conservation Workshop.

Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 10.00am for a 10.30am start. Duration – 4 to 5 hours, with a very short lunch break.

Venue – Community Rooms 2 & 3, Springvale Community Hub, corner Springvale Road and Hillcrest Grove.
Lunch – BYO or small on-site café.  Tea and coffee provided.

Bring along an item from your collection for expert advice. By the end of the day you will know about – rehousing/storage of textiles, manual handling,  environmental conditions, cleaning techniques and have an understanding of textiles.
